Der Neuseeländer mag offenbar Buddy Holly/RnR…Stück zum Abfeiern…sollte man aber nicht allzu oft nacheinander hören, da die Nummer rasch nerven kann – knapp aufgerundete 3.5…

Groove will ich dem Titel wirklich nicht absprechen, aber der geht irgendwie komplett an mir vorbei, weil in der Hektik des Songs kaum etwas hängen bleibt.

I've likened this to Sam and the Womp's "Bom Bom" lately, completely ignoring the iTunes influence in their popularity and more focusing on the reaction they receive. When I first heard this, I found it difficult to comprehend what it was that I'm listening to. Unlike Sam and that Womp of his, this never took off, and thus never got the chance to be accepted as a piece of chart history. The advantage in that is that I get to hear that song much more, so I've made sure to replay this plenty of times before I finish my review, just in case I miss something of appeal.

I still find it a little weird, but it is a little fun. I can certainly say that nothing on the radio sounds like this, at least not in this decade. But at the same time, there's a lack of development and it frequently falls back on crutches of repetition. It's not so bad, but I can understand that it was not top 50 worthy.
