Well the crazy love I had for her about nine years ago has died down, but I can still appreciate a talented, non-skanky woman singing a song which is not a generic party track. Her voice is as strong as ever, and while this is far from her best work, the song builds well and is a decent pop effort. I'm glad she's back.

It's far from being my favourite Delta song, but this is yet another fine slice of pop from the best Australian popstar. The song is unusually catchy in the sense that it is a sing-a-long moment, but it does get stuck in your head easily.

Nice comeback track. Could become a hit, especially if she does a Adam Levine/Christina Aguilera and continually promotes the song on The Voice Australia.
I don't know why, but it reminds of Ricki-Lee's comeback track last year, which isn't a good thing. |

I hard to believe it's come to this after she used to release some of THE best pop Australia has ever seen. It sounds a little cheap and tacky, but it's a decent return.

I really like this it's just enough catchy and not at all annoying. She is such a good singer as well, I love the bits where she goes high and I really love the fun and carefree video. Great comeback track (and probably her best since In this Life)

Wat een mooi nummer is dit zeg! Delta Goodrem heeft al een tijdje geen hit meer te pakken in Nederland, maar daar mag verandering in komen met dit prachtige 'Sitting On Top Of The World'. Wow! (Had trouwens ook een nummer van Brooke Fraser kunnen zijn in het verlengde van 'Something In The Water')

This song is ok, but somehow I don't enjoy this as much as I could. I think it's because the style was more suited to an era long ago. The repetition of "now I'm with you" seems lazy when lyrical variety would have improved the song. That weird vocal autotune at the start reminding me of those ha-ha's in 'This Is Who I Am' is another let down. |

Delta never makes a bad song because after all she's still our Aussie darling.
Her album COTU will be back charting again when The Voice comes back on TV.
I don't really care about Arcade Fire, I just enjoy this song because it's great to dance to.
Some people just think too negatively about Delta, I don't.
Delta's been through a lot and if people would still have a heart they would have forgiven her by now.
If you have been through cancer then you'll know what I mean. I find it insulting that some people call it a sob story.
Because it's not one at all. If she has been through it then you'll mind as change your mind about how you treat her.
SOTOTW is still a great song. Delta has proven that she's only human and humans are allowed to make mistakes.
And when she learns from them. She'd make better songs.
