Forum - General - RadioScope charts

Does anyone have a list of number ones on the RadioScope 100 chart for 1999 - 2001. I am looking specifically for date the song reached number one, song, artist and number of weeks at the top. I have a full list from 2002 to now and want to update my statistics. Ta
what is the radioscope 100 chart is that what is played on the radio the most
Yup can check it out on www.radioscope.co.nz
Hi, and thanx for that. The site www.radioscope.co.nz only goes back to 22 April 2007 and the list of number ones I am looking for is 1999 to 2001. Can you help? Once I have this information I'll be able to update chart statistics, namely, most weeks at number one etc.

Jason, the official singles chart is based partly on radio airplay (25% I think from memory) and these charts show top songs played on NZ radio, in the various formats. The RadioScope 100 is a chart showing all formats collectively. It's a great site. Check it out

In 1999 the longest running number one was Lou Bega with mambo no 5 with 6 weeks
I can't remember that being played on the radio very much at all?
I think that's on the standard RIANZ chart??
That's correct. Lou Bega did reach number one for 6 weeks but on the official NZ Singles chart not RadioScope. I was on radio back in 1999 (Dunedin's 4XO) and played that song quite a bit however that was before RadioScope was born.

whoops my mistake...It's all so confusing
Hey My little discography is about my fav singer Kylie Minogue. Her single "All The Lovers" manage to peak at number 10 on the RadioScope charts for 1 week. "Get Outta My Way" peaked at number 15 for 9 weeks. And someone told me that "Better Than Today" peaked at number 19 for 1 week.
The RIANZ NZ Singles chart is purely on sales now. The airplay component has been dropped.
It's about time.
REALLY OMG! What a good decision!
I checked with the rules and a person I know who works with the charts and I can confirm that the radio airplay component has been taken from the tabulation of the charts. This is due in part to the increased sales volumes with digital downloads.
